As far as mobile handsets go, the new HTC Incredible has much in its favour. It sports eye catching looks, a great camera facility and in Google 2.3, one of the very best operating systems around. There however is one aspect of this phone that really does stand out upon first use, and that is the extremely high quality display that is on offer.

The screen found on this phone uses the very latest Super LCD technology, which offers the perfect compromise between the standard TFT screens and the expensive AMOLED varieties. Looking at the specification side of things, the HTC Incredible S clocks in at an impressive 480 x 800 pixels, which in fairness has pretty much become the benchmark for a modern day high end smartphone. Therefore the device boasts the same resolution as the equally impressive Samsung Galaxy S. The manufacturers have decided to increase the size of the screen on this phone to 4inches, rather than the 3.7 found on many of their models. Although this does not take the model into the realms of the Desire HD, it offers a perfect compromise, and should find itself liked by both the general phone user as well as multi media lovers wanting a larger display but not one the renders the phone to large to be practical. The screen, as you would expect, utilises Capacitive touch screen technology to present the user with an unrivaled experience in terms of responsiveness, whilst the support of multi touch further enhances this as it enables the use of the popular pinch to zoom facility.

The screen technology found on the HTC Incredible S goes hand in hand with its similarly impressive specification in other areas, and should help make this model as popular as other successes that HTC have achieved with previous models.
