Toyota Leads The Best Overall Value Of The Year (bovy) Awards This Year

Toyota has once again won most of highest honors in this year’s Best Overall Value of the Year (BOVY) Awards form IntelliChoice. This was one of Toyota’s top awards for this year which simply proves that the company deserves to be reckoned as a member of America’s top car makers.

The BOVY Awards was considered as one of the prestigious award-giving body since its criteria for judging the winners were not solely based on the new car prices usually indicated in each car’s sticker price. IntelliChoice also considers other factors in trying to come up with the winners and this includes things such as the cost of the vehicle ownership, the vehicle’s depreciation costs, and the expenses incurred from the vehicle’s maintenance as well as in financing. Given these criteria, BOVY has come up with 21 categories in which each car make and model would be competing with.

2. Compact pickup- Toyota Tacoma
3. Full-size pickup- Toyota Tundra
4. Premium passenger car- Toyota Avalon
5. Minivan- Toyota Sienna
6. SUV- Toyota 4runner
7. Passenger car- 3rd generation Toyota Prius

Given these awards, Toyota proved that their vehicles were somehow one of the most ideal choices when it comes to overall value. These awards and recognitions would surely provide a significant boost in Toyota’s sales be it in terms of vehicle purchases in straight cash or through different auto loans offered by dealers.
