Raking is yet another important lawn care measure, and this process keeps the lawn in good health and shape.  Leaves that wilt or fall off from the plants need to be removed without any delay, especially in areas of heavy snow. Last but not the least, the right fertilization methods and the use of safe and organic fertilizers will make sure that the lawn remains healthy.  Fertilisers which are rich in nitrogen will keep your lawn greener, thanks to the phosphorus content in them.   Fertilisers containing phosphorus will strengthen the roots and also help in fighting diseases. Another important lawn care is to get rid of brown patches which generally arise in places where the climate is humid and warm.  When the lawn has been sprayed with excessive nitrogen fertilizers, there are greater chances of brown patches.
