Talent scout show (X-Factor) is a talent show that was first introduced by Simon Cowell. Largely known as an interactive television show, it was geared towards unveiling new talent into the singing world. It is important to state that it was created in a bid to replace the popular Pop idol television show and while this was the case, it has been seen to perform extremely well. As a matter of fact, since its inception, it has gained a lot of popularity and as a result, it has been adopted by several countries. Among the countries that have done this is Hungarian and the edition there is popularly known as the X-Faktor.

What is it all about?
The initial idea behind the conception of the talent show was to discover talented singers. While this is the case, it eventually extended to reviewing the ability of the participants to showcase some celebrity traits. In this case, the judges review how the performer portrays themselves while on stage as well as their level of consistency in terms of performance. Ideally, the Hungarian talent scout show is known to last for an approximate 60 to 120 minutes.

• Ideally, the first stage involves performing in front of the producers and once the candidates pass this stage, they have to perform in the presence of judges and only those who qualify manage to go to boot camp. During the camp sessions, there are a couple of things and exercises taken into consideration in order to cut down further on the number of participants.

It is ideal to note that there are two major series which are shown on the live show. During the first series, the participants are supposed to perform in front of the crowd and in the second series; they are expected to perform for the judges. It is important to state that in the talent show, the judges are supposed to pass their ruling and while this is the case, there is also public voting involved. The winner of the Hungarian talent scout show gets to win a recording contract and this is the gist of the entire show.
