Indigestion natural remedies are quite popular these days as they are safe unlike allopathic medications, also these remedies are very effective. Indigestion is a very common ailment of intestines. It is not a disease but only a disorder. There is another common name for indigestion that is, dyspepsia. This disorder is related to abnormal digestion of food. It is well known that stomach is the organ which is responsible for proper digestion of food. When stomach partially digests food, indigestion awakes.

Additionally, there are some symptoms that our body shows while suffering from indigestion condition. Firstly, the most common symptom is feeling of being full even when last meal was taken few hours ago. Others include, pain in the abdomen, belching, bloating and nausea. In addition, there are some causes for indigestion. Indigestion may occur due to some drugs, particularly due to NSAIDS (Non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), some antibiotics or due to some estrogens. The indigestion condition may also occur due to some disease. For instance, diabetes, diseases of thyroids, peptic ulcer and infection in intestines ...
... are some of the disease that may lead to indigestion. In addition, indigestion is also caused in most of the cases of hyperthyroidism.

Also, there are some small causes for indigestion. Most probably it is caused due to faulty eating habits. For example, overeating, eating hurriedly or eating without chewing the food properly. These are prime causes for indigestion. Also, sedentary lifestyle, partially cooked food and stress are some of the other prime causes for indigestion. When these habits are corrected, the indigestion condition is cured. A person suffering from indigestion condition knows that how badly it affects routine life. But it can be treated with the help of some indigestion remedies.

1. This is one of the simplest remedy for indigestion. Have about 200 grams of guava fruits after every meal. It will help the stomach to work efficiently.

2. Add 3 to 4 drops of mint essence in a glass of water, and drink this solution after every 4 hours to get rid of indigestion quickly.

3. After having meals, chew 1 teaspoon of carom seeds mixed with a pinch of rock salt. It will relieve any disorder of stomach and thus help the stomach to digest properly.

4. Prepare a mixture by adding one-fourth teaspoon of sea salt, little amount of black pepper and 6 copped leaves of basil in a cup of fresh curd. Mix thoroughly and have this mixture thrice daily. Curd should not be sour in taste.

5. Add one tablespoon juice of lemon to one glass of drinking water. Drink it 30 minutes before having meals.

Finally, it is also very important to get rid of faulty eating habits. Avoid overeating, as it irritates the glands of stomach due to this many other problems such as, flatulence or acidity may also occur. Also avoid eating hurriedly even when you are late for an important appointment. In addition, chew every mouthful thoroughly, and also avoid taking large mouthfuls. It is also found that sedentary lifestyle also causes indigestion. It is very important to workout regularly, at least for one hour. In conclusion, when these lifestyle changes and improvement in faulty eating habits are paired with indigestion remedies, complete cure can be achieved.
