With the 3d industry growing by leaps and bounds, the demand for 3d eyegear is increasing with every passing day and determined not to be left behind in this craze, the optical industry is launching all sorts of different 3d eyegear to woo people.

Dolby has announced its latest 3d glasses that will have new and smarter frames (and look very good indeed) and fit comfortably too. These lightweight glasses can be reused any number of times and are scratch resistant and come with an anti reflective coating. Also, these passive 3d glasses are environment friendly and require no charging or batteries. And the best thing is that all these features will come for $12 and less!

Samsung has also introduced new and stylish 3d glasses that use bluetooth to transmit signals to the 3d TV as against the regular infra red used. Slim, lightweight, these glasses are not only just good looking but provide excellent pictures too. However, the only downside is that these glasses will only work with Samsung models.

Meanwhile, the good news is that the Consumer Electronic Association is trying to standardize the 3d glasses for all brands.
