Is The Text Content Or Visual Content Vital For Successful Website?

Just as the two eyes are necessary for effective and efficient vision of any human being, the text content and the Visual Content are the two most vital elements for the success of any website. If either of these two elements were to be defective or imperfect it could bring disaster to the website. Anyone would consider first the differences between the two elements but when the designer wants to make the website a success then he/she has to bring both the elements on one platform and launch them in sync so that the revenue generation from the website can be optimized.
Prospective client attraction and client retention:
Nowadays, the purpose of any website is to convert the visitor into a buyer. This depends usually and mainly on the visual content of the website. This is mainly because the website can neither speak nor pitch like a business representative. It is the visual content that has to be appealing and capable of gluing the visitor to the website. ... the visitor but it is the text that gives information about the product or services. If the text is not legible or not convincing, it is sure that the visitor cannot be converted to buyer. Moreover lack of good content can compel a brand loyal buyer to seek other alternatives.
Text Content and Visual Content in Sync:
The two types of content instead of instead of repelling should support each other. The visitor could be in utter confusion upon finding that the images are not in any way related to the text of the website. The visual content needs to go along what is mentioned in the text. There should be not difficulty for the visitor in relating the text content and visual content to each other. It is only when the text and visual content are in sync that the visitor is going to feel comfortable and finally buy the product.
Optimizing the traffic:
Everyone is aware of how big a difference can be created when the shop is just beside the road and off the road. This is because of the number of visitors which is usually referred to traffic. In the case of the website, the success of the website is mainly dependent on the traffic as well. If there are no visitors what is use of having a beautiful and appealing website. While the text plays a pivotal role in the indexing of the search engine list, the visuals are usually ignored by them (search engine). Moreover, it is also possible that the visual may increase the load on the website and consequently increase the time duration of downloading.
The web design layout should be a balanced blend of text content and visual content to be successful.
