Phuket, Thailand: Thailand based Maikhao Dream Hotels and Resorts has announced that its first luxury beachfront resort in Phuket will open on the 2nd April 2011.

Located on the northwest coast of Phuket at Maikhao Beach, the resort offers guests a choice of twenty two, two or three bedroom pool villas and is only a fifteen minute drive from Phuket International airport.

Villas at the resort provide guests with a minimum of 464 square metres (5,000 square feet) of living space and feature a plunge and jet pool, an open wood terrace and an outdoor Thai sala.

Guests can also take advantage of the many on-site facilities such as; an all-day dining restaurant serving authentic Thai and Mediterranean specialities, a wine cellar, a poolside bar, a spa, a kid’s club and a fitness centre.

The Maikhao Dream Villa Resort & Spa, Phuket, is the second resort to be opened by the company in Thailand this year, having launched the Maikhao Dream Villas Resort & Spa, Natai, in Phang Nga on the 26th March.

This fifty six room resort features deluxe pool or ocean view rooms along with two-storey duplexes.

... include the largest swimming pool in Natai, a kid’s club, a fitness centre and a restaurant.

To mark the official launch of Maikhao Dream Villas Resort & Spa, Phuket, the owners are offering special opening rates starting at 56,800 baht (US$1,900).
