Can you hail a taxi cab in Ann Arbor and on the University of Michigan campus?

Yes you can.

Is it easy to do? Not always.

Most of the taxi cab business done in the Ann Arbor area is by phone request. So if you see a taxi cab driving down a street in Ann Arbor without any passengers chances are that cab is on the way to pick up a passenger who called. But not always.
