So you haven't yet taken the bait and opted to get the iPad2 from Apple. Although you watched and listened intently to the rumors leading up to the release and played the clips of Steve Jobs at the actually announcement, you still haven't made up your mind about purchasing the iPad2. If this is something that you are really thinking about, I can give you a few reasons for why you should twice.

Purchasing an iPad or any other tablet is a big investment. Regardless of the fact that the iPad2 has the same starting price as the original, $500 is still a lot to pay for something that can't really take the place of your computer. When you invest that much into a product you have to be certain that you are making a wise decision.

Apple is notorious for generating a buzz with their forward thinking products that frankly look very cool, compared to the other contenders. Apple does a great job of marketing a product so much so that you almost feel obligated to get on the bandwagon. Because of this, Apple has no problem with launching new products in rapid succession.

Such is the case of the iPad. The iPad hit ...
... the market just about a year ago and sure enough Apple released the iPad2 shortly after. As a consumer, I would either be highly upset or mildly happy. The main reason I would be happy is because I would appreciate whatever new technology the iPad2 comes with and therefore upgrade. I would be highly upset because I just bought the latest object that is now rendered inferior. The iPad2 may be slightly thinner, but is that reason enough to get rid of your barely used old model. I don't think so. As soon as you buy the iPad2 there will likely be an iPad3 on the market.

The fact that the iPad2 requires you to download apps in order to watch Flash player video is ridiculous. Who wants a tablet that doesn't even support Adobe Flash? Seriously? Who fell asleep at the switch with this one? Without flash, you will be limited as to the video that you can watch. The iPad2 is promoted as the go to device for viewing all kinds of material yet it doesn't support Flash player.

The next issue I have with the iPad2 is one that seems quite surprising. The iPad2 is not capable of operating using 4G speed. Apple has seemingly ignored that this is the direction of the telecommunications industry. AT
