How Is Snoring Related To Sleep Apnea
Everyone who has sleep apnea will snore loudly and disruptively when they are asleep. Those who are snoring, however, do not always have this condition. There can be a lot of conditions that cause one to snore while they are asleep. One of them is a deviated septum. Another Is drinking too much alcohol or sleeping on your back. However, most people who have incessant problems when it comes to snoring will usually be diagnosed with sleep apnea if they go to a doctor.
The problem with this condition is that no one knows what causes it in most cases. Doctors will usually tell a person to lose weight if they are overweight, but even those who are not overweight can suffer from this condition. In addition, there are aids that are available from doctors as well as sleep studies that diagnose this condition. Unfortunately, because the masks that doctors prescribe are so heavy and limit movement, most people do not want to use them and persist with their old behavior.
People laugh about snoring and say that it is harmless, but really it is not. It can cause a problem in a relationship. There Is nothing more ...
... annoying than listening to someone snore throughout the night. It can keep you awake and also make you irritated with that person. On top of that, someone who has a condition like sleep apnea is likely to be annoyed anyway. After all, because they are not breathing properly when they are sleeping, they are not getting a good night of sleep at all. They are likely to be irritable, just like the person with whom they are sleeping. So snoring is not a joke but something that should be addressed.
Going to the doctor for the problem can be very expensive, especially if you do not have insurance. And the CPAP mask is something that most people do not want to use because it is so uncomfortable. The good news is that there is help for those who suffer from this condition. Help that will actually address the problem that they are having as well as make them breathe properly during the night. They can get this help when they go online and look for a mask that will be lightweight, enable them to move when they want to when they are sleeping and will make them breathe properly so that they do not snore.
Do not take snoring as some sort of joke or think that it will go away. In most cases, it only gets worse as time wears on and can cause a breakup in a relationship. Sleep apnea is a condition that can be addressed over the counter and for little cost with the use of a device that allows the person who is wearing It to breathe comfortably during the night without feeling as though they are wearing something that is so intrusive to them. It helps the person who has the problem as well as their partner who is then able to sleep peacefully without the racket of the snores.
