Recycled Road base materials are of multiple types and can be used large infrastructure projects like the construction of a major road as well as smaller projects like intermediate and minor roads. The density of recycled road base material used in smaller projects like car park, driveways and hardstand areas is lower at around 1.8-2.0 Tonne/cubic meter. For larger project it is advised to use a slightly heavier recycled road base material of around 2.3-2.4 Tonne/cubic meter density. But even at this density they are lighter than the virgin quarry products.
