Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is the standardized test for getting admission in graduate level courses in all the English speaking countries.

There are certain guidelines which should be followed in order to have best GRE prep, these guidelines are:

Thoroughly go through the syllabus of Graduate Record Examination, so that you may get aware of the topics being asked in the test.

-You should know the format of the exam that is, how much questions are asked in each section and how much time is provided to complete the test.

-Practicing more and more GRE sample papers is best way to get familiar with the level of the questions being asked in examination.

-In GRE prep for verbal section, read the comprehensive passage carefully and skip the answers you do not know, answer them after answering all other question as spending too much time in one question is wastage of time.

-Quantitative reasoning consists of mathematic basics; therefore you should learn in advance all the critical definitions, basic formulas ...

-In argument task of analytical writing, an argument is provided on which you have to write an essay that evaluates the argument. It should be noted that no choice is offered in this part and you have to analyze whether argument is well reasoned or not.

-Time management is very important factor to be considered in GRE prep; practicing sample papers for GRE prep can be helpful in deciding the time limit for each section.

-Most important thing which most of the people often skip is, reviewing of GRE sample papers by some experienced person who has qualified GRE examination. It is very essential to review the task you have performed so that you may learn from your mistakes and improve them while actually appearing for GRE test.

-Practicing sample papers will let you know about your weaker sections and therefore you should try to work harder in order to make these areas strong.
