If you've been living under a rock for the past few days you may not have noticed that Charlie Sheen is #WINNING. Yes, folks, it is true. As of March 1st Mr. Sheen has officially been self-deemed an unemployed winner via his Twitter account.

The plight of this unemployed winner began many, many, moons ago but we'll start by dissecting the most recent history. To sum it up, things have just spun completely out of control (this is an understatement). Sheen has completely taken over the airwaves with his erratic behavior, unjustifiable demands, questionable antics, and comical outburst and to top it all off, the winner has now joined Twitter!

Not only did Charlie Sheen just join Twitter, he took the Twitter world by storm. According to the Guinness Book of World Record, Charlie Sheen (@charliesheen) now holds the record for the Fastest Time to Reach 1 Million Followers. Guinness community manager Dan Barrett states, the agency just researched and approved the record this morning. ... 300,000 followers and he currently has a follower count of approximately 1,247,898. Note: This would not be the first Guinness record that Sheen holds. He also holds the record for the Highest Paid TV Actor Per Episode — Current at $1.25 million.

The world stood by anxiously awaiting the first tweet. After a couple of hours Sheen christened Twitter with a tweet that will forever go down in history. It read Winning! Choose your Vice#winning #chooseyourvice accompanied by a twitpic of Sheen and now girlfriend, porn star Bree Olson holding chocolate milk and Naked (pun intended, I'm sure) juice. Yes, I too was expecting a lot more from Ol' Charlie on the Twitter front but I certainly haven't given up hope.

In a matter of minutes, Sheen had a Twitter Klout score of 57 even before sending out a single tweet. If any of you are wondering if this is indeed the REAL Charlie, fret not, his account has been verified as Internet startup Ad.ly brokered his account with Twitter.

Though Charlie hasn't tweeted much yet I'm certainly looking forward to shear Twitter entertainment and maybe even a few moments of clarity, if I'm lucky. If Sheen really capitalizes on the power of Twitter he can continue to keep the media wrapped tightly around his finger. There are no clever edits, no skewed perceptions, no camera cuts and no scripts. This is all Charlie. Now it's just a matter of what you want us to know, Charlie. Enlighten me, if you will. You've given me way too much via news outlets to hold out on me now. Tell me a little more about that tiger blood of yours, Charlie and let me know where I can get some of that. What will it take for me too to be a winner (though I think I'll keep the employment)?
