If you are a serious fan of the Beatles read on as this article is all about the Beatles tour of London. The tour takes you to the studios, pubs, cafes, film locations, music venues and art galleries that inspired the fab four. Also other famous musicians like The Rolling Stones, Sex Pistols, The Who, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Jimmy Hendrix that took inspiration from these places.

You get to visit London's 'Tin Pan Alley' which is quite simply Europe's best music street which is filled with specialist music shops. The street is actually called 'Denmark Street' but was nicked named 'Tin Pan Alley' in the 1920's. On the tour you can recreate some of the famous Beatles publicity shots and see where the Beatles and other music legends lived, played and socialised. The Beatles and Jimmy Hendrex even recorded music in the basement. Another street in London which is part of the tour is 'Carnaby Street'. This street was also the centre of music in the 60's and 70's attracting all bands mentioned above.

No Beatles tour would be complete without a visit to the famous Abbey Road studios where you get to see ...
... the famous zebra crossing seen on the iconic Abby Road album cover. The tours takes a short tube journey to St John's Wood tube station, then just a short 5 -10 minute walk to the studios in. You can have your photograph taken on the zebra crossing. It can be a busy road but with the help of the rest of the group playing traffic warden, everyone on the tour can get their photo taken.

If you would like to find the studio where the Beatles recorded Hey Jude and Dear Prudence, stop by the art gallery where John Lennon first met Yoko Ono and see where the Beatles played their rooftop session, this tour is definitely for you. You can also see the home that Paul McCartney has lived in since the 1960s.

The beauty of this Beatles London tour is that as well as seeing all these famous places you will be among other true fans of the fab four. You can share stories and because you are among other fans with the same interests as yourself many people find new lifelong friends.

The tour last for approximately 2 ½ hours and the cost is just £15 per person. If you have a group of friends you could arrange a private tour which can be either a walking/bus or even a chauffeur guided tour.
