Hunter Valley, The Queen Of New South Wales

The Hunter region, mostly known as Hunter Valley, belongs to New South Wales. It extends from approximately 120 km (75 miles) to 310 km (193 miles) north of Sydney, Australia with an approximate population of 645,395 people. The Hunter Region contains the Hunter River and its tributaries with areas to north and south. The valley is one the largest river valleys on the New South Wales coast, and is most commonly known for its wineries and coal industry.
