Why would you want to keep all your information (personal or business) locked up on your own PC and have to worry about back-ups and the wide range of viruses and PC issues you face today?

If you could keep all your data safely stored on a server that is accessible to you from anywhere, anytime from any PC hooked to the Internet and you didn't have to worry about back-ups, viruses and hardware failures, wouldn't that be great? I think so because I do just that. I never have to carry a PC anymore because I can get online just about everywhere. I admit though that I did have a little trouble in San Antonio recently so that's why I say "just about anywhere".

If you really have a look at the hassle and cost (don't forget your time) you go through to make sure you data is backed-up and you consider the risk you run by having your access to data dependent on one server or PC being healthy and online you will start to see what I mean. To some the risk is the big factor and to others it is the cost. To me it is the hassle. I like my life simple. I just don't want to worry about it! I also don't want to have to ...
... decide which PC guy is trustworthy enough to look after my problems properly. How do you know they really know what they are talking about? Now if you are a PC guy please don't get upset with me. It's just that PC's have gotten very complicated and they change constantly. How does anyone keep up with that?

So, if you could have access to a service that gave you secure storage and back up of your data and gave you access to a whole desktop full of powerful but easy to use applications that would be good wouldn't it? I think so. Who needs the hassle.
