Ipad 2 – The Rumors Continue…

If you’ve been following this blog for a little while now you may have heard talks of the iPad 2 and the proposed debut. I’ve made my speculations, drawn a few conclusions and shared my assessment with. Well, I’m back with yet another rumor. Forgive me. This time I come baring a date! It appears that the great minds over at Apple are said to be holding an event in San Francisco on March 2 to unveil the highly anticipated (but yet to be confirmed) iPad 2. You get it? March 2, iPad 2? It makes perfect sense, really!

Coming face to face with the iPad 2 will likely be like meeting a friend of a friend after hearing about them for so long. It’s like you’re already well acquainted and if you continue to hear about it without ever having the opportunity to connect the face with the name you’re going to believe it doesn’t exist. Well, I believe. I believe that this iPad 2 is lurking around fully manufactured and ready for distribution but Apple loves to make us wait. It’s for reasons just like ...
... this one. The longer we wait, the more we speculate, the more Apple is amused and keeps us waiting. The buzz builds and Apple sells are through the roof, again. Call it a conspiracy theory but I’m sticking with this one.

If you’ve yet to hear anything buzzing about Apple’s new iPad 2 feel free to take in the rumors that I’ve previously posted. Here are the CliffNotes: For starters, this new iPad might have front and rear facing cameras. This camera will enable use of the Facetime videoconferencing application. This device is also said to be slimmer, lighter and support Retina Display. I’d call this a pretty safe assumption just judging from advances in technology in the past. The second generation is most always a little smaller than the first. This is especially in the case of Apple. Take for example with first MacBook (if you can remember that long ago). Now, picture the MacBook Air. Smaller, right?

The rumors don’t quite stop there. The iPad 2 is supposed to have a flat back! How’s that for advancement? The flat back is designed so that the device can now, well, lay flat. If you’re in it for the size you’ll be pleased to hear that Apple just may offer the iPad 2 as a 9.7 inch model and it will be fully equipped with a USB port so that it can connect to other devices. This will allow for the seamless sharing of files and other information.

Almost forgot to mention one of the most important details: The iPad 2 is said to be released in 3 versions! One of these versions will support Wi-Fi only, the other will support Wi-Fi and UMTS (3G technology utilized by AT
