If the muscular cramp occurs while you are sleeping you should bend your toes back towards your head and stretch the leg straight out. Hold the position 30 seconds and then relax. Repeat the procedure until the cramp disappears.

Chamomile tea can be also used successfully in treating muscular cramps naturally.

Herbal oils used in massages are also of a great help. For example, you can prepare massage oil using 1 ounce Cramp bark, 1 cup of extra-virgin oil, one-fourth ounce Willow bark, half ounce Lobelia. Mix all these ingredients and keep the mixture in a bottle or a jar. Use it for your massages.

Because dehydration can lead to muscular cramps take care to stay properly hydrated. Drinking 2 liters of water daily can help you to prevent muscular cramps.

If you are prone to muscular spasm pickle juice can be of a great help. Take a tablespoon of pickle juice regularly and you can prevent the apparition of cramps. And because this juice contains acetylcholine compound it helps the muscles to relax.

Boil some mustard seeds in water for 10 minutes and pour the water into a basin. Soak your legs in the hot water and stay until the water is almost cold.

Stretching before going to bed and in the morning while you are still lying in the bed can prevent the apparition of the muscular cramps. This small habit can work as a home remedies for muscular cramps.
