Casino Hold'em is an online casino game based on the extremely popular poker variant Texas Hold'em Poker, but it distinguishes itself from the latter in several important ways. The best of our casino tips is therefore to learn about the rules before you try Casino Hold'em at a casino online. Being a skilled Texas Hold'em player doesn't automatically make you good at Casino Hold'em, since the latter one is more of a game of chance than a game of skill.

One of the main difference between the two types - Texas Hold'em and Casino Hold'em - is that instead of playing against other players you will be playing against the dealer only in Casino Hold'em, something which makes Casino Hold'em more similar to games such as Black Jack and Caribbean Stud Poker.

Casino Hold'em is found online as well as offline. You start the game by placing an ante on the table in front of you and receive pocket cards. You will then get to see the flop, i.e. the first three communal cards, before you decide if you wish to proceed or not. If you decide to stay in the hand, you call by placing a bet that ...
... is twice the size of your ante. The dealer will then show you the turn and the river (i.e. the fourth and the fifth of the communal cards). During showdown, the pocket cards are revealed and you can se who won - you or the dealer.

In most casinos, online as well as offline, the dealer needs to have at least a pair of fours to play in Casino Hold'em. If the dealer doesn't reach this requirement, the ante is paid according to the paytable and the bet is refunded. When the dealer gets a pair of four or higher, the ante will be paid according to the paytable while the bet will be paid at evens - unless of course you are beaten by the dealer's hand.

Typical paytable for Casino Hold'em
Royal Flush 100/1
Straight Flush 50/1
Four of a Kind 40/1
Full House 30/1
Flush 20/1
Straight 7/1

Casino Hold'em bonus
In quite a few casinos, a good enough hand will render you a casino bonus. Typically, you will need at least a pair of aces or three of a kind to qualify for a Casino Hold'em bonus. Just as with the paytable, each casino sets its own rules for bonus payments.

Another of our best casino tips for online Casino Hold'em is to always, always take a look at the paytable and bonus rules before commencing any play. Some casinos offer excellent odds while others have horrible payout tables and casino bonus rules. Our casino tip is therefore: Don't waste your time and money on a casino with rubbish odds - seek out the ones that are more player friendly.

Side bet options in Casino Hold'em
In Casino Hold'em, there are usually a side bet option known as AA+. When playing AA+ you are not betting against the cards of the dealer. If your hand is equal to or better than a pair of aces, you will be paid - regardless of the cards of the dealer.

The last of our casino tips is to stay away from AA+. It might sound like a tempting opportunity, but the odds are not in your favor. The chances of getting such a premium hand are low and your money is better gambled on something else.

Although Casino Hold'em is still a new addition to the casino world, there are already several places on the Internet where you can find plenty of casino tips and strategy advice for Casino Hold'em.
