Harry Potter Tours Offer An Inspiring Look At A Magical World

Join one of the Harry Potter tours when you visit London and enjoy the sights of the magical locations used in the movies based on the stories by author J K Rowling. The witches, the wizards and even Muggles will be there to greet you. Just under three hours in duration, a bus tour includes a visit to the sets in the latest 'Deathly Hallows' series.
Other locations include 12 Grimmauld Place, Platform 9, and the Leaky Cauldron sites. These venues are spread across London so a bus tour is the ultimate way to see them.
En route, you also get to see lots of other celebrated landmarks. Learn how to do magic and see how the movies were made. Immerse yourself in the wonderful world of this famous wizard boy.
There are stop-offs where you can stretch your legs, see the locations up close and take photographs. Feel free to dress up as the boy himself or any of the other characters and take part in a fun trivia quiz. The bus tour ends on the South Bank at the London Eye.
Another great tour is the Harry Potter walking tour and river adventure which is just under three hours. When you have passed ...
... through Westminster station with more ease than Arthur Weasely did in the movie, you can stroll through fascinating locations. Wander through the area that is home to all the ministries that includes the famous Ministry of Magic.
Enjoy a 15 minute boat ride on the Thames which goes along the exact route that Harry took with the Order of the Phoenix. The boat trip ends at the station where Potter started his journey to Hogwarts which marked the beginning of his awesome adventures. The number of people in a walking tour is limited to ensure that everyone gets the best possible experience.
Another option is a 2-day tour with a maximum of 20 people. In an air conditioned luxury bus, you set off from the center of London. During the first day, see where the nasty Dursleys live, as well as the homes of Godrics Hollow and Professor Slughorn. After stopping for lunch, you'll see Snape's classroom and much more.
Day 2 includes a walk through Oxford where you visit the many colleges that were used in the making of several movies. See the magnificent staircase that leads to Hogwart's dining room, and the hospital where Ron practiced dancing for the Yule Ball. The locations mentioned in this article are just the tip of the iceberg of the fun you can experience during Harry Potter tours.
