Dream box is a small connection with Linux powered set top box which is developed by German company named Dream Multimedia. DreamBox has its origin with DB0X2 model which was allotted by KirchMedia for their paid TV Services. Mostly the model of DreamBox shares the same design as was found in DBoX2, which has an Ethernet port included in it and also includes PowerPC processor. The company also has various models which are non Linux based receiver. These receivers have no specified hardware, but still having an Ethernet port and USB port with it.
You would find various models available with DreamBox. Some of them have released and have been discontinued while on the other hand, there are some which are not released till date. These all models have different specifications like CPU Type, Flash type, DVB, Common Interface, USB, LAN, HDTV, etc. These specifications are supported by some models while other models do not support it. HDTV facility is supported by 500 HD and some other model while the model which do not support HDTV are DM 7000, DM 600, DM 7020, etc.

You can get the best result of high definition picture with a combination of LCD and LED televisions which would result the same as expected by you. There was some fault in the devices found in the first month of sale. The piece was freeze but then the company rectified the piece and issued in the market. Nowadays, this DreamBox 800 is one of the most demanding and popular products in the market.
DreamBox 800 supports MPEG4 video format. It also has an USB port and Ethernet port. You can listen to your mp3 music and display your JPEG photos.
