Petra tou Romiou Beach
This stunning beach can be found just a short drive from Paphos. Mansoura Beach
This beach is without a doubt the option for you if you genuinely want to get away from it all, but willpower is required to reach this treasure. It can be found near to Kato Pyrgos at the Greek Cypriot-Turkish Cypriot border down a long and winding but impressive road. It is a mission to reach, but you'll be rewarded with a blissfully deserted and nearby, as an added bonus, you can sample some exceptionally fresh fish at the local taverna.

Lara Bay
Lara Bay is located on the Akamas Peninsula and is one of the last few places where green turtles return to breed. As such, access is restricted during high season. The area is also home to a nature reserve so you can really embrace Mother Nature and the plentiful flora and fauna. Access is difficult so it is advisable to book 4x4 hire at Paphos Airport nearby. It is a true haven here and so worth the journey!

Relax Beach, Pomos
Hidden away in front of the tiny Pomos fishing harbour, your eyes will fall upon the equally petite Relax beach in Pomos. The beach is usually populated with a few locals, but it's a great place for a relaxing swim, and snorkelling is great here too. There are pebbles so sea shoes are advisable! You're also rewarded with stunning views of the Troodos Mountains as a back drop.
