Recently, a woman in Taiwan died suddenly with bleeding. After the autopsy, police concluded that it is the arsenic poisoning death. According to the survey of police, this woman had no obvious intention of suicide. So, who kill her and where did the arsenic come from?

Police launched an extensive investigation. A medical school professor was invited to solve the case. Professor looked at the stomach extracts found in dead and said that arsenic is produced in deceased stomach. The woman is not killed by others but by herself. It turned out that the deceased had taken vitamin C every day. This is not a problem. The problem was that she ate a lot of shrimp at the same time.

Through experiments, the researchers found that shrimp and other kinds of soft shell contain a much higher concentration of five potassium arsenic compounds. Such fresh food has no toxic effects on the human body when they enter into stomach. However, when people eat vitamin C, the original nontoxic five potassium arsenic compounds transfer into toxic arsenic because of chemical reaction.

Arsenic could paralysis capillaries, inhibit the ...
... activity of sulfydryl enzymes, and cause fatty degeneration and liver lobule central necrosis. What's more, it could lead to heart, liver, kidney, intestinal congestion, and epithelial cell necrosis, telangiectasia, bleeding and finally lead to poisoning death. So as a precautionary measure, people have to avoid eating shrimp when they take vitamin C.

Many foods are restricted by each other and they cannot be eaten at the same time, or it will cause discomfort to human body. Turnip is forbidden to eat with orange, or people will get goiter; carrot cannot be cooked with tomatoes, pepper, lettuce and fruits such as pomegranate and pawpaw. It is better to cook it simply or cook with meat. Sweet potatoes cannot be eaten with persimmon, because they will form stone and cause gasteremphraxis, stomachache, vomit and even bleeding. It also cannot be eaten with banana.

After all, people have to pay attention to their daily diet and try to avoid incorrect food match.
