Microsoft 2003 & earlier versions limit the size of an MS Outlook PST file to 2GB. When th size of PST file exceeds 2GB, it starts to behave abnormally and you will not be able to access the important data inside it. This scenario is generally referred as an oversized PST file problem. Solution 2: You can also try to Compact PST File and reduce its size below 2GB.

Solution 3: PST Archiving can be tried.
