In respect to the customs & old traditions, father of each and every new bride was accountable for full cost of the special event of wedding day. But today in present days people are becoming more fain towards the toll portioning out dependant on hostlers parents and other household fellow members as well. In present, there is equal or simultaneously equal contribution from the Grooms family towards the total expenditure of the event day. However there is no hard fast rule for contributing in budget of the event day, it depends upon the mutual love and consideration between the both families binding together. Here Wedding Planning takes place between the parents from both sides.

Expenses by Brides Parents:

The key parents of brides mark up with anticipation to obtain the ceremonial transcription expenses and the reception toll cost which happens to be precisely the big part of the overall budget. It may would include ancillary costs like drinks and food, flavored decorations, dance and music, video shoots and various other entertaining affairs. Even ...
... in some cases the burden of such expenses are also managed by other family members. The wedding ring for the groom is bought by the bride's parents. There are some religion who also sponsor Grooms wedding dress like Sherwani, Suit or a Blazer. Paying for the other important costumes required for the ceremony like formal wear for brides and for parents themselves is also paid by bride's parents. The happiness of Marriage in India lasts for many days even after the wedding day gets over. Therefore parents for bride also have to send vote of Thanks also if possible present with some gift to the family members, friends, and relatives who marked there immense presence in their daughters marriage.

Expenses by Grooms Parents:
As on today, Grooms parents also actively participate in wedding etiquette. Right from the brides ring upto the wedding dress of bride is been sponsored by grooms parents. Not only this in some cases they also sponsor to wedding costumes for their own family members and friends. Grooms family is also responsible for the other miscellaneous expenses like reception party at their end, getting marriage registered for the new married couple as registration of Marriages in India has became mandatory important and compulsory as per government law. Allocating wedding gifts for other family members and friends is also sponsored by the groom's parents. In such case they obviously they pay more as compared to brides family.

Other Family Members role:

It's not like that the expenses are managed only by the couple's parents, but also they are borne by other family members. For instance the best man from Groom side throws a bachelor party into which he has to manage and finance beginning from a party hall venue till the food and drinks of the guests. Other family members also anticipate in some or other way as like some one may welcomes groom at their home place if the marriage ceremony is scheduled to their home town this may include accommodation, food, clothing, transportation expenses.

Once the main event of wedding ceremony gets over, now what? There is also a huge an contemporary expenses followed immediately after the marriage ceremony, i.e. the Honeymoon expenses. Previously it was sponsored only by the groom's parents, but now a day's new trend has merged up. Parents from both the sides finance the loving couple for their honeymoon also anticipated by most of the other family members also. Right from the booking of Airways upto landing at some resorts or hotels along with food, transport are all managed by the parents, family members and friends.
