Coming at the top of the list is Twitpic.
Twitpic is an application that allows people to share pictures as they tweet. Twitpic allows you to post photos from your phone or email to their site so that you may share it on Twitter. Twitpic therefore became the most popular Twitter client in 2010.

Following closely behind as a runner up is Tweetdeck. For me, Tweetdeck has been my most favourite Twitter application. I wonder why it isn't topping the chart? Well, maybe this year(2011). Tweetdeck is an application that helps you tweet to multiple Twitter accounts at thesame time and to other social media accounts too i.e. Facebook, LinkedIn, Foursquare, Myspace etc. There is a lot you can do with Tweetdeck if you are into multi-tasking as it was built to support that mainly.

Digsby is third on the list. Digsby is an instant messaging application that allows you to chat with your frinds on many other social network all in one place-and that's on Digsby. It also helps with email notifications from these other networks so you do not miss anything while you're on Digsby.

... of Twitter applications. Twitterfeed is an application that basically auto-tweets a blog post to a Twitter profile using RSS. It's functions just like the google alert programme except that Twitterfeed is associated mainly with Twitter. If you want, you may subcribe to a celebrity's tweets for examble using Twittterfeed so you do not have to keep going back and forth from your account to theirs in order to know what they are up to.

And last but not the least is Twitaholic. Twitaholic is a Twitter application which suppliers ranks an stats of Twitter users based on thier daily activities on Twitter,their number of followers etc.

Furthermore, there are also other new Twitter applications which stormed the internet this year i.e. Twee.li. This application is also an instant messenger application, but it does not support sharing of posts across other social networks as it was designed mainly for chats with friends on Twitter. To get the application you will need to go to Twee.li. and download the application like the yahoo messenger, then install it on your computer. This application is really remarkable.
