Malta, officially the Republic of Malta, is a Southern European country and is a group of seven islands in the Mediterranean Sea. Malta is internationally renowned Tourist resort including Historical monuments, and Megalithic temples which are the oldest free standing structures in the world. Malta is a fusion of African, European and Middle Eastern culture which makes Malta unique. The official language of Malta is Maltese and English.

Malta has a Subtropical-Mediterranean climate with mild winters and warm to hot summers. Rain falls mainly in winter, with summer being generally dry. Also, Malta is one of the few places in Europe which is green all year round. If you want to really discover Malta, you personally have to go and experience it, relax in the Maltese atmosphere and make a judgment for yourself.

The Island of Malta is a small but heavily populated island and is a popular tourist destination due to its warm climate, sea proximity and exciting nightlife.

The Maltese Islands are not very large, which makes getting around relatively trouble-free. The public bus service in Malta is a good way to get around, as buses serves in all major tourist areas. Malta also offers inland adventure. The parched and rocky Maltese terrain provides visitors with a chance to experience off road driving. Car hire in Malta is a good option if you want to get to the further reaches of the island. All the road signs are in English and driving is on the left.

Renting scooters, motorbikes or mountain bicycles is also an option, but travel this way can be somewhat limited as not all roads are two-wheel vehicle friendly. Cheap car rental is available in Malta on the basis of daily rates. International and national driving licenses are acceptable, so car hire is also an option to consider. A number of internationally based car hiring firms as well as local garages also offer the services of chauffeur-driven cars.
