Combi boilers are special hot water systems that are especially designed for homes that are relatively small and compact. In addition to their ability to save space, they are also highly regarded for their energy efficiency as well. With many people finding that their household bills are spiralling out of control each year, a combination boiler is often a great way of saving money.

The main reason why a combination boiler will not lead to such high heating costs will simply be because it will not store any hot water as a traditional water tank would. Instead, the hot water that you require in your home will be heated up as and when it is needed. Regardless of whether this is for heating purposes or for washing, you will only be using the hot water when you require it.

A further benefit of a combination boiler is simply the fact that it is going to be very easy to install. Due to the fact that they do not need extensive pipework, a hot water cylinder, and a loft tank, they can easily be fixed in place without much effort whatsoever. And, of course, you can combine this with the fact that they are small and ...
... therefore easily suited to smaller homes.

These are small designs mean that they are also a lot easier and a lot cheaper to maintain as well is to fix into place. If, for example, your boiler was to suffer some sort of fault, it would not cost you a small fortune to get it back up and running again.

Before you consider what type of heating appliance you are going to install into your home, it is important for you to consider the size of the space that needs heating as well as the available storage space for the heating system itself. These combination boilers can easily be stored in a kitchen or a bathroom cabinet or cupboard out of harms way. This is certainly not the case with other heating systems that will take up many square metres of space with their larger designs and significant pipework.

You also need to figure out how many bathrooms you have in your home. If you only have one bathroom then a combi boiler should be more than sufficient for your needs. If, however, you have several bathrooms then it may not quite be enough and therefore another heating system may be necessary.
