Known for his different and brilliant films, film maker Vishal Bharadwaj is yet again coming up with an unusual film, Saat Khoon Maaf. The film is based on a short story by Ruskin Bond, Susanna's Seven Husbands. The film depicts the life of a woman, who marries seven different men in her life span and murders them all in her quest for love!
Priyanka Chopra is the lead actress in the film who plays a murderous wife to her seven husbands. Apart from Piggy Chops, the film features Neil Nitin Mukesh, Naseerudin Shah, Arshad Warsi, Mohan Lal, Irrfan Khan & John Abraham as her husbands. The buzz is that Vishal Bharadwaj has also signed an international actor to play one of the husbands. Konkona Sen Sharma also has a cameo in the film. The film has Priyanka in seven different looks as she plays a woman in different stages and ages of life. Priyanka who is just 28, will be seen playing a complex character with a age spanning from 25years to 65 years. The make up team for the film is from Hollywood and is the same team which created Brad Pitt's amazing award-winning look in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

... film is a black comedy and Vishal's version of humour. It's a very incredible film and a challenge for me. I was scared when he chose me to do the film. It's been a very difficult experience since I am portraying a wide age graph from a 25-year-old to a 65-year-old woman," Priyanka said in an interview. "Isn't it every woman's dream to kill her husband?" joked Priyanka when quized about her role. "Movies are my priority. I am actor and I am getting to do all this because of that. I have two films: Don-2 and Anurag Basu's Silence," said Priyanka.
