A new decade, a new year has arrived. Big changes are expected to be seen in advertising field. Advertising is expected to become more social especially when social marketing is at its peak. Infact, in today's marketing trends; it is smart work, not hard work that counts. advertising has become a common tool or practice for almost every brand. Hence, it's time for brand owners to hone their ad skills and let their brands participate in the smart race. Various agencies for this purpose are preparing to take action in their weaknesses and brace-up to improve their strategies, methods and techniques of brand promotion. Considering all the factors, tools and strategms of advertising during the present decade, the following predictions have been made-
Television Advertising will still rule (as an effective broadcast channel of brand promotion)- For years, Television commercials have been entertaining, informing and educating masses about various brands in the market. ... a source of information as well as entertainment, television media will further create its magic in ad world during the present decade.
Radio Advertising will sustain- The growing number of FM channels is a clear proof that radio ads will further sustain and prove to be one of the cost effective modes of brand promotion in modern marketing. This media will somehow sustain and evolve as the age old yet effective mode of brand promotion for most of the brand owners.
Outdoor Advertising is poised to boom further- More and more brands are opting for OOH media this year. Emerging and established brands are going to adopt OOH tools of advertising for promotion during the present decade. Especially with the launch of new age tools of outdoor advertising, brand promotion through OOH media will step ahead further and faster.
Internet & Mobile Advertising- Believe it or not, internet & mobile ads are going to rule in 2011 and accompanying years. ‘Go digital, go mobile' has become the latest craze amongst various brand owners. Hence, both these tools of modern advertising will emerge as the most effective channels to launch an advertising campaign of a brand.
Print Advertising- Print ads were, are and will further provide good impact on customers in today's digital world. People still take time to read newspapers and magazines. Hence, it is not a bad option to go for print advertising to reach out to customers in modern advertising.
