Acekard: Ace Of All Cards

The Acekard 2 is a comparatively new card as it was launched in April 2008. For being compatible to kinds of games and its versatility, it earned the Golden game compatibility. Some of the unique features which the Acekard has include:

Immediate download and play

Micro SD/SDHC Memory support card

Fast loading

Action-Replay cheat support

Initially after its launch, many users complained of freezing problems. But since the first batch of cards had this problem, the new version named Acekard 2.1 was released in December 2008. This reworked version was devoid of any such problems. These new batch of cards have 2.1 written on the sticker attached to them and are easily identified by their lack of a microchip swelling beneath the sticker.

The authorized Acekard Team has not updated the firmware that they are using to make Acekard since mid-2010. Moreover, another firmware which is a Closed-Source firmware named AKAIO is also being developed apart from the official firmware which already exists. This new firmware is at version 1.8.1 according to the latest news. It supports the EZ-Flash V 3-in-1 ...
... and 3-in-1+ Expansion Packs.

When Nintendo DSi was released, the team of Acekard became the first to come up with a card i.e. Acekard 2i, which was compatible with it completely. The only difference between Acekard 2 and Acekard 2i is that the latter has support features for the DSi. When the Nintendo released the up scaled version of the DSi firmware, the Acekard team immediately released a version of its card which had a patch so, it was able to support the firmware. It was the second manufacturer to do so.

The Acekard R.P.G. is another Acecard series and is a device which features both NAND memory and MicroSlot SD in the market. The Acekard R.P.G. also uses SDHC cards which have a wide range of memory, ranging from 4GB to 64GB. This Acekard comes with a USB cable so that you can plug it to your computer or your laptop and be able to access internal NAND Memory.
