HONDA CITY:
As the name suggests, it has been tailor made to fit city use with its spacious interiors and fuel efficiency. When it comes to mid-size sedan, City outperforms all other cars in its segment. The car is equipped with a revolutionary 1.5L i-Vtec engine that clearly focuses on power, torque and fuel efficiency. Honda City is declared as the best mid-size car of India for 2010 by NDTV. It has also won Best sedan of the year from Zig wheels, an online portal declared by voters.

The car has a spacious inside while it looks meager on exteriors. It has 506 liters worth boot volume with leg extension space. Nevertheless there are many flaws when city is taken out of city. The gear-box starts vibrating when you speed up above 3000 rpm and creates an alarming noise inside the cabin. Although the weight of car is normal, but it's less torque restricts the driver from overtaking on hilly roads. But finally price to performance beats any other car in its segment.

HYUNDAI SANTRO:
The car maker tapped the Indian market in quite large way in hatchback section with introduction of Santro and ...
... its variants. The main advantage of this car was a very competitive pricing of 3.3lakhs. The car is powered by the 1.1 litre, eRLX engine, and has the both options available for fuel. The Indian arm of the parent company has registered total sales of over 4.25 lakh vehicles as of 2009 and expects the sales to increase at a rate of 9.2% YOY. The car bagged many awards across various magazines and car analysts were not surprised on its popularity.

TATA INDICA:
The Indian automaker created a craze by launching Indica and Indica Vista. It is the most fuel efficient car in its segment. Recently the car has won Eco award from London for the most economical and fuel efficient small car. The car gives a mileage of 16 kmpl with 4 cylinder MPFi, petrol engine and displacement of 1172cc. It is best suited for Indian roads due to its compact size and easy driving.
