Let's begin with a mention of the fact that detoxification can bring about great health benefits. The said detoxification is all about ridding the body of toxins. The body, of course, comes with its own self-detoxifying capabilities. But sometimes, the toxins it is presented with turn out to be more than what that natural detoxification system can handle. Where that happens to be the case, the body has to be aided, through a detoxification supplement, if at all it is to rid itself of the said toxins.

The heavy metal toxins are, of course, amongst the toxins we mentioned earlier; with which our bodies' natural detoxification mechanisms simply can't cope. After all, our bodies' detoxification systems were developed/last evolved at a time when exposure to these heavy metal toxins was largely inexistent. We may also pause to note that unlike most other toxins that cause only minor health problems if let to accumulate in our bodies, heavy metal toxins have a tendency to cause some very scary health problems if left to accumulate in the body. When you hear of conditions like cancer being mentioned, you know that it is a serious matter we are looking at.

It is towards helping the body cope with those heavy metal toxins that zeolite supplement formulations are used. What the said supplement formulations do is actually quite simple. For a start, they electrically attract the heavy metal ions (seeing that the heavy metals will tend to be positively charged, whilst the zeolite ions will tend to be negatively charged). Once the heavy metals are attracted, the second step is that of trapping them. This becomes possible due to the zeolite's sieve-like molecular structure. The third step in that process is of course where the heavy metals so trapped are carried out of the body, to leave the person in question reinvigorated, and free from the major health risks that the continued stay of the toxins in the body would have amounted to.

The process employed in making the said zeolite supplements is also equally simple. In the first step, the zeo is mined. Only naturally occurring zeo (which is mined), and not the variety of zeo which is industrially manufactured, would be suitable for making supplements. After mining, the zeo is cleaned. This is an elaborate process, which involves chemical washing. It is then exposed to hydrochloric acid (and heat), to augment its sieve-like molecular structure, and make it more potent for the detoxification role. Finally, it is packaged and distributed to stores from which potential users can buy it, and make use of it to rid their bodies of heavy metals and their associated negative health effects.
