Before going into the details of the importance of vibrating feeders, it is necessary to define the term "vibrating feeder" in its simplest and most intelligible sense. A vibrating feeder is a mechanical device used in different manufacturing processes in which different manufacturing materials would be taken separately to the different points within the same production line. It is also known as vibration feeders. There are different types, sizes and categories of vibration feeders. This type of feeder has been divided into seven categories according to their trough size and power consumption.

The smallest category is the one with trough size of about 200mm by 500mm and the power consumption of about one hundred and fifty watts. On the other hand, the largest category is the one with the largest trough size of about 1200mm by 1800mm and power consumption of about five thousand, six hundred watts.

Considering all the uses mentioned above, it is obvious that the importance of vibration feeders cannot be over emphasized, especially to the manufacturing companies.
