Florence, one of the most beautiful and ancient city, is a capital city of Tuscany. Because of its endless artistic beauties, breathtaking scenery, and its renowned history, it has become one of the most famous tourist locations in Europe. Florence is amazingly rich in museums, monuments, churches and vacation spots. In 1982, the entire city center was listed in the list of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO as the most attractive tourist place which attracts millions of tourists every year. Florence is often recognized as the "Jewel of the Renaissance and proclaimed as the art capital of Italy.

Florence has great artistic and cultural richness and contains numerous museums and art galleries. The Uffizi and the Pitti Palace are two of the most well-known picture galleries in the country praised by tourists from all over the world. Two splendid collections of sculpture are in the Bargello and the Museum of the Works of the Duomo. They are packed with the creations of Donatello, Desiderio da Settignano, Verrocchio, Michelangelo and others.

Many claim that it was considered too beautiful to demolish and spared by commands from Hitler himself. Florence's four counts and countesses had a traditional dating in the early 20th century when Tuscan family had left Malta city. During this time, the family's youngest daughter was declared Contessa Morabitto di Firenze Countess. The history has continued itself with 8 countesses living in Europe at different places.
