What is gravel?
Gravel is made up of small rocks. It can be a mixture of sand, clay, and small pieces of rock. It is sedimentary rock and usually found where there is, or were, rivers, lakes, and glaciers. It happens where rocks have been weathered by wind or water or eroded. What's more, artificial gravel happens when stone crusher begins to work.
Gravel is used to make glass, concrete, and in road building. It is one of the cheapest rocks that are mined but it is needed all over the world. The road building application needs large number of gravel. And usually there is not enough nature gravel to use, so gravel production line is needed extensively.

Gravel production line
Gravel production line includes vibrating feeder, jaw crusher, cone crusher, impact crusher, vibrating screen, belt conveyor, electric controlling system and dust catcher etc. The designed capacity ranges from 50t/h to 500t/h. To meet customer's specific requirement, we can make different design to meet various needs.

The gravel production process is that: raw materials are evenly fed into the jaw crusher by vibrating feeder as primary crushing. Then the belt conveyor transfers the elementary products into impact crusher as secondary crushing. Then, the secondary products are separated into different sizes by the vibrating screen, and the stone which does not reach the required size will be return to the impact crusher for re-crushing.
