The term welding is considered as a technique that is mostly used in the fabrication process. It involves the method of welding two or more metals together in a dynamic form, by melting and cooling processes. In this the heating can be done through a gas flame, electric arc, laser, electron beam, friction and ultra sound. In fact, the actual procedure of welding can also be carried out in an open air, underwater and in space. But wherever it is done, it will always remain a little dangerous thing to do. And, unless it is done carefully, one might get exposed to burns, electric shock, deadly fumes and ultraviolet rays.

Kinds of welding

Today, different kinds of welding process are used. And, among all forge welding is considered as the oldest method, which is carried out by heating and hammering. Forge welding was first introduced at the end of 19th century, prevalent after the arc welding, where electric current were used for the purpose of heating. And, it was then followed by the oxy fuel welding in which fuel gases and oxygen were used for the welding purpose

Welding consist of certain safety tips and techniques. These tips totally depend on the overall process of welding. Listed here are some of the safety tips that you can easily consider. These are as follows:

1) The welding process involves heating of all the inflammable materials.
2) A welder should make sure to wear a protective gear in order to avoid any kind of injury that might be caused from fire or the gas.
3) A fire extinguisher, is a major thing that should always be kept handy and ready for any emergency.
4) Be sure to have proper ventilation at the place where welding is being done to avoid the accumulation of toxic materials.
5) Things that are being welded should be placed separately.
6) While welding, the welder should use woolen clothing rather than cotton materials as it will easily catch fire.
8) In the case of extreme welding, the one carrying out the welding process should make sure to wear flameproof jackets to avoid any kind of damage or fire.
