Indigestion Natural Remedies - Effective Dyspepsia Treatment

Digestive problems are common features in our daily life that arise due to over eating or faulty heating habits. Indigestion, also known as Dyspepsia arises from the above mentioned factors causing flatulence, heartburns and acid reflux. Mild cases of indigestion can be cured easily regulating the eating habits, but the chronic sufferers must give due attention to this digestive disorder to avoid any serious complications. Prolonged suffering results in malnutrition of the body, poor skin conditions, premature graying of hair and hair loss. Chronic stomach acid reflux causes irritation in the esophagus creating undesirable complications.

Though indigestion or dyspepsia can be a bothering problem for many, but the good news is that this disorder can be fully cured through natural modes of treatment without paying a single visit to the doctor's clinic.
1. Strictly cut down the spicy and junk foods and include whole grains, cereals and vegetables in the diet. Stick to regular food habits and stop having unhealthy snacks in between meals.
2. Eat in moderate amounts without overloading the stomach and chew the food properly. Avoid eating in a hurry.
3. Drink enough water throughout the day, to neutralize the effects of acidity. Drinking lukewarm water after the meals prevents indigestion.
4. Massaging herbal oils made from Peppermint, fennel, coriander and marjoram, mixed with any carrier oil (almond oil) on the abdomen helps in relieving the abdominal pains due to indigestion.
5. Taking ginger tea helps in reducing bloating and abdominal pain.
6. Drinking moderate amounts of pineapple juice after the meals is very effective in treating indigestion.
7. Drinking herbal tea prepared from raspberry, blackberry, chamomile and mint, are also very effective in reducing the problem of dyspepsia.
8. Fruits like grapes and oranges are highly beneficial in reducing the problems of indigestion or dyspepsia.
9. Taking a little amount of ajwain seeds mixed with rock salt after the meals is another effective remedy for indigestion.
10. It is better to avoid caffeinated beverages and alcoholic drinks. These add to the worries of indigestion.
11. Regular physical workouts, walking and practicing yoga postures are the most effective methods to treat indigestion and dyspepsia.
