Olympic mathematics pays attention to test very much, if child is interested in it, it is also understandable to attend, but now parents and the school values it most, causing negative effects to the Chinese education. ... capabilities. It is killing our genius."

The interview, regarding China's mathematics research level, he said, Chinese mathematics research level in the world is not the best, has quite a distance with the United States, France. One important reason is the talents training and introduction aspect is undercapitalized, there are many esoteric subject lacks of young scholars to do.

Foreign talent cultivation pays attention to young, fully supporting undergraduate and graduate students, PhD, postdoctoral training. China's cultivation mode is on the contrary.

Therefore, China should have more investment funds in young children, from undergraduate and graduate student to PhD, should provide them with the good study condition, and have enough development space. In recent years, it is improved in this respect, he also feels very gratified.
