The Great Amazing Craft Of Beading!

Saturday evening, I just happened to skip over all my work and party for a sudden promising treat to my inquisitive knowledgeable self. Unexpectedly my niece was given a craft assignment in her school which was to be submitted on two day deadline. She just pulled me to the entire assignment work; from making her understand those terms to help her buying the craft material and getting the entire assignment at place. The assignment was based on the topic far out of my knowledge which was needlecraft.

But most surprisingly, a quick visit to the storehouse located next to my lane made me wonder why did I never been there ever.

Awesome was the word that I pulled from my dictionary of amazement when I looked around at the colorful craft pieces walled and laid around in a beautifully merchandised arrangement.

I asked the lady to help me buy those craft materials to best suit the assignment. And the very next moment I was pleased to see the mesmerizing samples of craft work in her craft design catalog which she started explaining with the materials used and the patterns incorporated in the work.

... looking quite a novice in the idea of the art but certainly not after her insightful and comprehensive definition that she uttered in most simple words to my pleasant delight. She said beading is just using small beads with thread or wire to create complex structures. Following that she provided me much needed information on needles and threads used in beading and embroidery with the other important aspects of needle crafts and embroidery threads.

Quite convincingly, I learnt a lot of it when she went towards the practical side of it by enlightening me on embroidery kits and jewellery findings necessary for giving a best shot to complete the assignment.

From the primitive styles of wall hanging, quilt square or pillow to the contemporary version of crafts and embroideries all of them appeared most fervently into my cerebral cortex. Materials like
