It was heavily raining that morning when I gave birth to my little baby girl who is 2 years now. I still remember that morning fondly, firstly, because my girl came into this world, and secondly, because in that lonely hospital, I just had my sister by my side at the time of delivery. I could see from my ward that it was pouring outside. The thought of giving birth to my first child without my husband around was not going down very well with me.

My baby girl was born after a few hours. That moment was, perhaps, the best one in my life, and I felt that life had given me another chance to live and experience an all new relationship. I was extremely happy and wanted to share the moment with the entire world. In all that excitement, I noticed the ward door opening and someone walking in to share my happiness. ... longer she took to return, the greater my excitement was swelling. She came in, switched on her Toshiba Laptop to start the video conference.

To my horror, the laptop was not starting and all my excitement started fizzling out. She then started fiddling her hand inside her handbag, took out her cell phone, and dialed a number of some technical professionals, from a tech services provider, who instantly gave her some instructions to fix the booting problem with her Toshiba laptop. She switched it on, tried connecting it to the Internet, but again all efforts seemed futile because the Internet was still not working.

Throughout the conversation, the technicians were assisting her over the phone by giving her some guidelines and solutions to resolve the issue. She followed exactly what they said. Within a few minutes I saw my husband joining the video conference. I finally managed to show him our newly born baby girl through the Internet. It was the most touching and cherished moment of my life, and it was amazing to know how an unknown team of tech experts made it so easy for me and my baby to connect to my husband remotely over the Internet. That day, I realized, technology with proper guidance from tech experts, can be utilized to make the world a smaller place and bring you closer to your near and dear ones.
