At the core of the financial division, the bank operates as a fundamental force, which is responsible for monitoring the flow of money throughout the economy. This person is a trained expert who offers investment recommendations and financial planning services to persons, other business establishments, and government agencies. They mainly transact stocks, bonds, mutual funds, real estate investment trusts, options, futures, notes and insurance products. A financial advisor works to help the customer to sustain the preferred amount of investment income, capital gains and acceptable level of risk by utilizing the right asset allocation.

Some financial advisors function as fee-based worker meaning they ask for both the charge fees and they also receive commissions. Alternatively, there are Fee-only financial consultants who don't take commissions but rather the normal fees for their services. Other bank jobs include, Portfolio Analyst, Mortgage Processor, Audit Director and Audit managers and a Banking membership development officer
