When we buy bedspreads, we often tend to choose our preferred color or with reference to personal characteristics. But different colors have different psychological stimuli, which cause different effects on health. So, when we choose bedspread colors, we should focus on their health effects at first.

Light orange bedspread could be applied in the living room of the elderly, which can induce appetite, help calcium absorption, and inspire high spirits. Blue is also suitable to help relieve headaches, fever, insomnia and other symptoms.

Newlywed bedroom should use bright and strong red bedspread. The red color could create festive atmosphere, stimulate the nervous system, increase adrenaline secretion, and enhance blood circulation. But people will feel anxious under too much exposure to red. Therefore, people who have insomnia, neurasthenia and cardiovascular disease should not use red bedspread to avoid aggravating illness.

Tender green bedspread is suitable for irritable people to relax spirit and relieve tension. Generally speaking, most bedspread colors are light. In converse, gold could easily lead to ...
... emotional instability, so patients suffering from depression and fidget should not use gold bedspread.

If the owner has hypertension or heart disease, it is better to cover light blue bedspread in their living room, for it is good for facilitating blood pressure and pulse recovery. In addition, blue color also suits white-collars who overstrain their nerves.

Purple can maintain the balance of potassium in human body and have a sedative effect, but it could suppress their motor nerve and cardiac systems. So, purple bedspread should be used with caution for patients with heart disease.

Indigo will affect vision, hearing and smell and can reduce the body's sensitivity to pain. Wound recovering patients can choose indigo bedspread or simply paint the room indigo.

At last, I want to say that people could use light cold color bedspread in spring and summer, while warm hot color in autumn and winter.
