Why Are Engagement Rings Important?

For many women and even young girls, they always become fascinated to hear about a romantic engagement. It is not surprising though, as many women consider themselves to be a real hopeless romantic and are easily touched with enchanting love stories. No wonder why most women would also dream of a special engagement from their partners.
For quite a time, I was really thinking on what really makes an engagement special. It could be the place where the proposal is about to be made, or the people who would participate in the event. But most importantly, I believe that one thing which would make it more special is the presence of an engagement ring.
I have always wondered why engagement rings are so important. Is it because engagement rings are normally expensive? Is it because women want to tell the world that they are going to be married? For some though, an engagement ring means more than just that. When their partner offers them an engagement ring, it symbolizes the magnitude and purity of his love, the emotional investment he wants to make in the relationship, the rare and precious beauty of the bride to be and the ...
... eternal bond he wants to form. From these meanings, I can sense why women value their engagement and their engagement rings.
As many jewelers have expected people to look for engagement rings, many jewelers have created rings specially designed for engagements. Many makers of designer jewelries have become popular such as John Hardy, Victor Meyer, Leslie Greene and Scott Kay. I love Scott Kay rings though because of their stylish and lovely designs.
I still believe though that no matter what the brand is, or no matter how much the ring costs, any engagement ring would still be of great importance. What matters is the feeling that both people have for each other and their willingness to be united all the days of their life.
