Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is often seen by tourists from all over the world as the ultimate travel destination. The reason behind this trend is because the city has a lot of potential, offering interesting, fun and relaxing activities through the entire year. We will start off with an annual event, called Feira do Rio Antigo, which will be organized on the first day of January 2011. Here the Rua do Lavradio will transform into an antique market dubbed the Feira do Rio Antigo. At the market shoppers will have the possibility to browse through approximately 100 stalls, restaurants, bars and extend their chairs and tables onto the pavement. One of the most important events of January in Rio de Janeiro will be the annual Rio Fashion Week which will be held between 11th and 15th of the month. This is the place to be if you want to watch beautiful women sashaying down a catwalk, wearing the latest trends from the most important fashion designers. The event will have it all, from bikinis to ponchos, this is the place to be if you want to get your fashion inspiration. The show will take place in venues spread through the entire city, including some rather unusual outdoor space.

Another important annual event is the Salao Bike Show which will be organized from 14 - 16 January 2011 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The Salao Bike Show will be the home of the most high quality motorbike as well as cycling products at RioCentro in Rio de Janeiro. Besides bikes and the most modern accessories for them, the show will have biking entertainment and a chance to have a word with some of the professionals that will be attending the event in January.
