In fact, on August 4th, 1914 the United Kingdom and France would declare war on Austria and Germany; which was the start of the First World War ever. Later on the RCA Company would get involved in the war and played a major role in communications. The Allies would cut German telegraph cables; which made communicating difficult back then.
