Rca Makes An Alarm Clock?

While looking around online, I came across this RCA alarm clock. I was trying to think back if I had ever seen one before. As far as I could think back, I don't ever recall owning a clock of any sorts by the RCA Company. I have bought a lot of their products over the years. Their 3 letter abbreviation has often appeared on my televisions and VCR's, but never for any clocks I had around the house. So I was curious to know how recent it was, since this popular company began producing clocks or the bedside alarm clock, you see in the picture above.
