The Islands are a conglomeration of three islands- Inis Mor, ...

One of these is a historical fort that will take back you to 1500 BC. It is located at a 300-foot cliff, and is a series of circular stone walls. A careful view over the cliff will let you watch the waves of Atlantic. The view is spectacular and an affair to remember. Moving ahead, the next island is Inis Meain. This is the middle island of the Aran Islands. It is spread across Galway Bay, 15 miles off Ireland's west coast. The landscape of this island is unique in the entire Europe. The island offers peacefulness and uniqueness. It is unique because of its simplicity. Then, Inis Oirr means island of the East. This island is the most smallest and is situated at eastern most part of the Aran Islands. It is really small as this walking paradise is even less than 3 Sq Km in size. The island is blessed with spectacular landscapes and unique flora. As far as the flora is concerned, there are alpine and northern species. To sail to Inis Oirr, the sailing time required is 55 minutes. To add to, this island has a long sandy beach that will surely take your breath away for the crystal clear water. One day is too less to explore the beauty of the Aran Islands. So, take some time off your busty schedule and indulge in the dazzling beauty of the islands.
