Many people are wondering what the hell I've put on my feet. In fact, it is probably one of the biggest questions I get from people who approach me. And for good reason ... It looks pretty damn funny. When I first saw the Vibram 5 Fingers I also thought it looked weird and I wondered who the hell would wear a shoe like this.

But after the pain in my back and joints became too much I decided to do something about it.

I've heard a lot of great things from people in the inauguration of the fitness industry these shoes and that did wonders for the lower back and joints. I was skeptical at first, but after using a couple of times I was hooked.

"The human foot is a masterpiece and a masterpiece of engineering."
-Leonardo Da Vinci

When we think of the history of the human species and how long they walk barefoot, no doubt in our evolution is the right foot in the first place but then we had to come and try to reinvent the wheel with the shoes.

I'm not saying that shoes are a bad thing, but we are so accustomed to wearing shoes, some good and ...
... some bad, that are their feet and not in the way they are naturally supposed to be.

This has caused problems literally from the beginning and things get out of alignment and the constant pounding of our bodies has caused much pain to take back and lower limbs in a lot of people.

If you see a basketball player usually, you'll see a pair of sneakers high top and this, in theory, is supposed to protect the ankle joint, and they also tend to have their ankles taped, too. But once you take away that mobility with the use of sneakers highly resistant top and tape all the force goes directly to the knee.

So many basketball players are prone to knee and ankle ... lack of mobility of the ankle.

After watching the football players are sprinting and diving around the field and their shoes are very flexible and allow a great range of motion ... The result? Very few of ankle and knee problems ever seen on the soccer field!

The feet are much more flexible then we thought, and how to use our feet shoes suits them. I'm not saying that walking through the mall in her bare feet. But you're at home barefoot and if you are training or walking take the Vibram KSO.
